Static content

1 week ago by giacholari

It is a good practice to separate the concerns on your website. In that, I mean that you could serve static content from a different subdomain and ensure that it is fully cached in order to reduce the load in the origin server. On top of that, the static content could be on its own repository. Now, if you want to achieve that, you might as well leverage GitHub and Cloudflare. They both are free services that could be combined to serve fully cached static content. I will not explain the process here but instead, point you to the article I read to do so for this very site. You can find the article by visiting this linkĀ https://blog.cloudflare.com/secure-and-fast-github-pages-with-cloudflare/
